Got back to school this past Saturday, which was lovely, but the cafeteria is closed. Oh no, what should we do? Let’s make pork chops! Yay!
I figured I would share with you one of the easiest and tastiest pork recipes i have. (20 mins total!)
To serve, this really goes well with some garlic mashed potatoes, which, since i cook for 2 all the time, I reccomend  using a bag of the 97 cent really delicious Idahoan instant mashed potatoes.

Enough of that, now for the recipe, and good eats!

1/3 cup molasses
3 tbsp steak sauce (such as A.1.)
1 1/2 tbsp cider vinegar
14/ teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
4 (6-oz.) bone-in, center-cut pork chops, about 1/2-inch thick
(or butterfly pork chops, which I prefer 🙂
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
cooking spray

1. Combine first five ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside.
2. Sprinkle pork with salt and black pepper. Heat a large non-stick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Add pork; cook 2 minutes on each side.
3. Pour molasses mixture over pork; cook 2 minutes.

Makes 4 servings.

220 calories; 5.7g fat; 21.4g protein; 19.4g carb; 0.1g fiber; 58mg cholesterol; 5.5mg iron; 414mg sodium; 259mg calcium.
